Who we are
Nubi is made by Made by Balthazar, a small studio in Belgium. Contact: info@madebybalthazar.com.
No account, no tracking
You do not need an account. Nubi contains no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and does not share data with advertisers or data brokers.
What stays on your device
Your Nubi (name, needs, coins, hats, album and settings) is stored on your iPhone and, if you use it, synced to your own Apple Watch. We cannot see it.
Caring together (optional)
Only when you invite someone or join with a code, Nubi stores the shared pet and an optional nickname in Nubi’s iCloud database at Apple (CloudKit), under the 6-letter code. People who have the code can see this pet and nickname. When you stop caring together, your part is deleted. We do not see your Apple ID, name or email address.
Purchases
Nubi Plus is sold by Apple. We never see your payment details; Apple only tells the app whether Plus is active.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled on your device. No push server is involved.
Children
Nubi is suitable for all ages and collects no personal data from children. Caring together uses a code instead of names or contact details.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to or deletion of your data. Because we store almost nothing, deleting the app (and stopping caring together) removes everything. Questions or complaints: info@madebybalthazar.com, or the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
This website
No cookies, no analytics. When you claim a launch code, we keep a one-way hash of your IP address next to that code to limit codes per person, and delete it when the offer ends.
